Lead Sled is a pressure washing company that brings a bold personality and old-school sensibility to a modern service. The client needed a fast, professional brand package to launch their business — something clean and credible, but with strong stylistic roots in vintage Americana. We created a custom logo suite and mini brand system that reflects their love of trucks, tools, and tough machines — with just enough polish to stand out in a saturated market.
The client wanted to break away from the expected corporate look typical in the pressure washing space. Instead of leaning neutral and forgettable, we needed a brand that was confident, gritty, and full of personality — while still looking trustworthy, clean, and professional. The visual language needed to balance vintage grit with modern reliability.
We pulled references from old garage signs, 1950s greaser culture, and steel-heavy Americana. From that, I designed a complete logo suite including a circular badge, a horizontal logo, a wordmark, and a custom signature. This gave us room to play across signage, merch, and business cards.
The color palette pairs an “oil slick” black with a creamy off-white and a muted vintage mint — subtle but distinct. Typography includes a mix of bold sans-serif (ASAP), industrial condensed fonts (DIAZO MVB), and a handwritten accent (Yellowtail) that adds a subtle personal touch. Everything was built to feel strong, no-nonsense, and made to last.
The final brand feels like a machine: bold, solid, and built to work. It reflects the client’s style and speaks directly to customers who value both hard work and standout identity. From the signage on a vintage truck to business cards and online visuals, the identity delivers consistency and recognition — all with a confident, American-made edge.
